For our Cash & Carry, we're looking for a shop manager who helps run the day-to-day operations while also actively thinking about how to organise our shop even more efficiently and customer-focused. You'll join an environment where freshness is central and where work takes place in a chilled space (±7°C).
Who are we looking for?
- You work independently and spot what needs doing without being asked
- You keep the overview, even when things get busy
- You think in terms of solutions and improvements, not just tasks
- You're easy-going and professional with customers and colleagues
- You combine hands-on work with organisational insight
- You feel comfortable in a chilled working environment
- Experience in retail, hospitality or food is a plus
- You're flexible and willing to work on Saturdays when needed
Your tasks
- Keeping an overview of planning, stock, presentation and daily organisation
- Helping customers professionally and acting as the point of contact in the shop
- Safeguarding quality, freshness, order and cleanliness
- Monitoring customer flows and thinking along about the shopping experience
- Tracking sales and rotation and adjusting where needed
- Flagging points for improvement and proposing ways to make operations more efficient
- Working with management and providing input on optimisations
